Sparkle FlashKeeper 3.0

Working with Flash files (SWF or EXE) is a bit difficult. You need special players in order to play a SWF file and there is very little you can do to that file with the standard Windows Tools. Besides playing them, Sparkle FlashKeeper will also help you manage them, convert or perform other actions on them. The simple, explorer like interface will make it feel like SWF is a native Windows format.

Sparkle FlashKeeper can be downloaded fast. The package is only 1.59 Mb large and the installation wizard features straightforward steps. If your computer is out of date, you will not have to upgrade it soon, because the software has low system requirements and it is compatible with Windows 2000 or higher.

The interface resembles a standard explorer window. Your folders are displayed in a tree structure on the right side of the window and the contained files can be viewed in a list, on the right. When selecting a folder, the program will display Flash files and nothing else. Thus, you can spot the files in question immediately, without having to go through other files as well.

With the functions available on the toolbar, you can search for a Flash file on your hard drive, using various parameters, convert SWF files to EXE or vice versa or capture a frame from a presentation and set it as the desktop wallpaper. Some of these features will bring up a new window, with straightforward options, others will be applied immediately after clicking a toolbar button.

It is also possible to download a Flash movie or presentation from the Internet. After clicking the Download button on the toolbar, you will have to paste a URL and start the process. The downloaded content can be accessed in a different tree structure. The navigation tabs, beneath the tree, will let you switch between them. Sparkle FlashKeeper comes with a Flash player as well. It features standard playback options and a playlist and you can launch it with a separate .exe file, or automatically if you double click a Flash file on the main interface.

Pros:
Using Sparkle FlashKeeper feels like working in Windows Explorer. It will only display Flash files and you can perform various actions with easy to find options. It is a multipurpose software, ideal for managing Flash files in either SWF or EXE format.

Cons:
While running the program, hot keys, like CTRL+A, are disabled, for some unknown reason.

Sparkle FlashKeeper provides you with anything you need in order to organize your Flash files. Due to the interface's familiar design, you can master the software immediately.
